LG G Slate Tablet on Ebay (Revealed)

This is pretty interesting to see a G Slate on auction on eBay. It was listed for $800 by a seller and buy it now price was set to $1200. The auction also states that the device is in stock and ready for shipping. Considering the fact that T-Mobile will offer the LG G Slate tablet for $529 with a 2 yrs data plan after $100 mail-in rebate, and it is still listed as coming soon the authenticity of the eBay listing is quite open to suspects.

It is known that some eBay sellers try to take advantage on pre-orders for hot items and list them as if they own them and make the buyer wait until the real release date while they profit on price difference.

So, it is always suggested to check the feedback ratings and product description in detail for such hot items.

G-Slate 3D Features with LG Girl (Video)

Here is LG Girl! She is pretty and knows a lot about the LG G-Slate tablet. In this video, she shows the powerful features of the Android 3.0 tablet along with the most important one. 3D shooting thanks to dual cameras on the back which others lack (including iPad 2 and Xoom).

We also see how fast the new LG tablet is thanks to NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core mobile processor and new Honeycomb interface. The tablet will be competing to Xoom and Galaxy Tab 10.1 in large screen Android Honeycomb tablet segment. The slate will be taking advantage of T-Mobile HSPA+ 4G network while the competitor Motorola Xoom will be upgraded to Verizon 4G LTE network soon.

What we see in this video is nice and shooting 3D content with HDMI output is motivating to grab one of these ! LG Girl has some kind of prettiness too

T-Mobile G-Slate with Google by LG (Officially Unveiled)

Today, T-Mobile and LG sent a press release about the G-Slate tablet which reveals almost all its specs. We knew it was coming at CES with a very short introduction. Then, a Korean music video clip has given more chance to us look at closely and speculate about its 3D capabilities. This turned out to be true. This is the first 3D recording tablet in the market and the additional specs make it also a perfect tablet choice in the beginning of Spring.

The LG tablet, G-Slate will offer a 1GHz Tegra 2 dual core processor, rear-facing stereoscopic twin cameras for 1080p 3D recording, a separate 5MP camera with LED flash, front-facing 2MP camera for chat, 32GB internal memory storage, an accelerometer, gyroscope. The device will take advantage of fast and large T-Mobile 4G network and has WiFi too. It also offers HDMI slot for 1080p video output.

3D viewing will require separate glasses. No exact word on pricing and release date of G-Slate LG tablet yet.

T-Mobile LG G-Slate Tablet Showed Up

Finally, we are able to see the actual hardware of T-Mobile LG G-Slate Tablet. The forthcoming LG tablet showed up in a Korean pop music video clip. The video clip shows very close views of the G Slate tablet several times. We knew that the device would be running on T-Mobile HSPA+ network according to CES 2011 tablet unveiling before. A few more specs were also leaked to the Internet.

The new LG tablet will be a 8.9 inch 1280×768 res. IPS WXGA touchscreen device — which makes the choice of 8.9 inch rather rare in tablet market. The OS will be Android Honeycomb. Other hardware features are NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, HDMI plus MicroUSB ports, 5MP rear-facing camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera and 6400mAh battery.

According to a screenshot from the G-Slate tablet video, it is more likely to have 3D camera as well due to double camera lenses on the rear face.

First videos start to show up from CES 2011 and we have seen the first video of LG Tablet. This tablet pc is expected to be available in coming months and most importantly, T-Mobile G-Slate will be the first 4G powered tablet pc. Now, let’s take a look at the video!

As we can see from the video, latest version of Android, Android 3.0 Honeycomb will be the operating system of G-Slate and I guess which will be the most powerful part of this and following tablet computers of 2011.

LG Optimus Android Tablet at CES?

LG apparently wants to take a serious pie from tablet devices market which is predicted to be expanding swiftly until 2015. Considering that forthcoming CES (Consumer Electronics Show) at Las Vegas Convention Center will be a tablet show, LG will probably join the parade with Optimus Pad Tablet.

Actually, the first news for Optimus Pad is relatively old. It was seen in various presentation slides at IFA Berlin a few months ago.

Due to competition on upcoming Android tablets, it is expected that LG Optimus tablet will run on Android 3.0 Honeycomb version and feature nVidia Tegra 2 processor which is dual core. It is expected that Optimus will be a 8.9 inch capacitive multitouch screen device. Considering that previous Android 2.2 Froyo version is not optimized for large tablet screens and had problems with apps, the choice of Honeycomb is wise.
